We don’t sell platforms. We design control.

Kaludov Systems Ltd. was created in response to a problem that is becoming impossible to ignore:

the widespread dependence of businesses on centralized cloud platforms that are not under their control.

Today, business infrastructure cloud solutions are dominated by global providers such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. They offer convenience — but with two serious consequences:

  • rising and hard-to-predict costs as teams grow
  • a lack of real ownership over data and critical infrastructure

Our solutions are built entirely on open-source and self-hosted technologies. That means full transparency, auditability, no vendor lock-in, and real ownership of your data and systems. The client knows what they use, where it runs, and who has access — with no hidden dependencies or licensing traps.

In addition, any product or service can be changed, restricted, or discontinued by a unilateral decision — a risk that for small and mid-sized businesses can become a direct threat to core operations.

Across Europe, this model is increasingly being questioned. Governments and public institutions are actively pursuing a shift toward more sovereign, independent IT infrastructure — often built on open-source and self-hosted solutions. Examples include Denmark’s public-sector push to reduce dependency on major vendors, and Italy’s defence-sector move toward open standards and open-source office software.

At the same time, Bulgaria remains far behind in the adoption of key business technologies — with low uptake of cloud services, big data, and AI — while the EU’s 2030 target is 75%. This is not just a technology gap; it is a strategic risk.

Our role is to make this transition possible — practical, and financially responsible — for businesses.

How we work

Most mainstream solutions expect businesses to adapt to them.
We work the other way around.

We start with a direct conversation with decision-makers and the signing of an NDA. We analyse how teams actually operate, what real processes are in place, and where technology should support the work — not get in the way. Based on this, we design a self-hosted infrastructure built on open-source tools, tailored entirely to the specific needs of the organisation.

We present a clear solution and a fixed price. We build on existing hardware where possible or assist in selecting suitable equipment — without profiting from the hardware itself. All hardware is purchased directly by the client through established commercial partners.

We do not offer standardised packages or fixed price lists. We do not sell unnecessary services. We provide training for working with the infrastructure and, where required, training for internal IT teams to maintain and develop it independently.

Our goal is not dependency, but your long-term technological control and resilience.

Who we work with

We work with small and mid-sized businesses, non-profit organisations, and teams with or without an internal IT department that are looking for:

  • real ownership of their data
  • infrastructure without vendor lock-in
  • higher security and transparency
  • preparation for international standards and certifications

We are not the right choice for organizations looking for the cheapest possible solution or those who prefer the convenience of ready-made platforms over control and independence.
